I grew up in Alberta and British Columbia, and earned an M. Sc. and Ph. D. in Vertebrate Paleontology, studying dinosaur brain size, while working on archaeology digs in Canada and Egypt. I have been employed as a professor teaching Anatomy and Biology in the U. S., Canada, and Qatar. My travel bug and employment have taken me to Southeast Asia, Nepal, Oman, Turkey, England, continental Europe, and East Stroudsburg, PA. I enjoy reading and photography everywhere. I play guitar better than someone who cannot play at all. and live in Hamilton, Ontario.
